We went last week. The people were really friendly, the food tasty, plentiful, well cooked and really hot (I often find tapas not heated up enough).

The kids were well behaved too, sat doing schoolwork.

It’s a nice spot too, the trees/garden mean you don’t feel like you’re on a road.

We are fairly new to Albox and spotted this bar opposite BP Garage after driving past many times. We We called in for lunch and the tapas was very good. We left very full having spent not much money.
The couple who run it were very friendly and made us feel welcome despite our poor grasp of Spanish.
We will be going back soon.

We started going back to Diagos Bar Palmera by the BP island next door to Malones in Albox . The couple that recently took it over are lovely , very friendly and cant do enough for you . The wife worked for Diago and the last guy to have it and now with her husband and their young boys are running it themselves .

I know a lot of English stopped going there due to the attitude of the last person to rent it , would be such a shame if the new family fail to make a go of it because of that . Please try it for yourselves and you will understand why we think they deserve a recommendation .
If you see someone without a smile give them one of yours .
