Title: Pool Problem, Expert Pool Company Needed Please Not Pool Cleaners.

Hi
We have a Problem with our Pool & really need someone who knows there stuff please.
Have had a couple of Pool people around who didn't have a clue, re Air in the Vacuum, have changed the Pool hose & Pole still a problem but suction when hose disconnected perfect no air?.

Steve - whenever I turn the vacuum on there is always some air than comes through.  I think it i all to do with how the pipes are set up (the vacuum pipe is the highest so any air in the system makes it's way there somehow).  However, after a short while the air clears.  Sometimes if there is a lot of air I shut off the drain valve very slowly so that there is always enough water to avoid straining the pump.  I then turn the pump of and release the air from the little air release hole on top of the filter.

To be honest I regularly get air in the system (via the skimmers if the level falls) but it doesn't seem to damage the pump (7 years old and still going strong)
