A female neighbour of mine was robbed yesterday at 10:30am outside Charter. She was loading her shopping ion the car when a male came up to her and asked the way to Granada. Whilst distracted an accomplice opened the passenger door and took her handbag (with purse, credit cards, passport, chequebook and other effects like residencia).

Apparently this is not uncommon, having spoken to others it has also happened at Mercadonna and is regular occurrence at the airport  mostly to unaccompanied females.
