Day 1
Travel to Cuenca (approx 5hr) with rest stops en-route and check in to Hotel Torremangana. Free afternoon to start exploring the beautiful city situated in Castilla La Mancha between the Júcar and Huécar river canyons. It has a wealth of monuments and its historic centre overlooks rocky canyon walls in the heart of the Cuenca mountains.
Day 2
Leave hotel at 09.30 after breakfast. Travel just 35km into the Cuenca Mountains to visit the Ciudad Encantada. Spend the morning investigating the unique landscape of the Enchanted City, made up of weird and wonderful formations, reminiscent of objects, animals and human forms that water and wind erosion have carved out of the huge limestone rocks. This unusual place takes about two hours to walk.  Back to Cuenca for a free afternoon and evening.
Day 3
Check out of hotel at 09.30 after breakfast. Travel to the historic village of Uclés to visit places such as the monastery that dates back to medieval times.  Leave at 2pm to continue journey back, with short rest stops en-route.
