How Thick?

Only managed to catch them once in Bristol, must have been late 90's or early noughties. He was apologising all the way through as he had a bad cold but soldiered on.

I remember him holding a beautiful "Ovation" guitar out up in the air above him saying, he always wanted one of these when he couldn't afford one, then when he could, they gave him one for nothing!

Superb musicians.

You are pressing all the right buttons as far as I'm concerned. I grew up musically with Tull. I got my first guitar, an acoustic, in the early 70's just so I could play Ian Anderson's guitar parts and here I am now, a baldy old one eyed fat bloke ............. but still a Tull fan. 

I must have seen Tull live about eight or nine times. I saw the Thick as a Brick tour, one of the best gigs I have ever seen.
