Thanks Butch, they are under the porch and get no frost under there , can I cut them down and leave them there?

Hi Sue,cut them back to soil level and put them indoors away from frost.no water, they will start shooting march/april then start to water.  B

Hi,

I have Cannas in pots, they did really well last year but I'm not sure what to do now, in the UK they died right back and then regrew again in th spring but here mine have a mixture of old leaves that are dead, old leaves that are alive and new leaves.
Should I cut them down (if so how much)  or just pull out the old leaves.
