To answer your question sensibly. I asked one of my local goat farmers if he could supply me and he was most obliging.
37 kilo Cabro, jointed and packaged, €100.
Try speaking your local and see what he says.

What happens to the old goats?

Not usually available 'off the shelf' but any butcher will order and get it in for you within 1-2 days, though the larger butchers will usually be quicker. The joints are quite small as they are young kids 'cabrito' and check the price as it is not cheap.

Hi all
Know its unusual but its for a Moroccan dish. Does any one know where they will sell it or will any local butcher do?
