**  ban the use of drinking water to fill pools, which means using raw water from wells or groundwater. This then has to be filtered in the pool, requiring them to be closed for between 24 and 72 hours.**

They are talking nonsense. Up here everyone only ever uses irrigation water to top up pools as you are using chemicals in it anyway so no point in using potable. & no there is no need for them to "be closed for 24 to 72 hours" Waht the **** is that for??
I haven't died after 22 years of using irrigation.

Nobody that we know is paying a blind but of notice to the pool filling restrictions.
Fortunately there is very little crime other than those rogues  that park illegally so no need for costly Policia .🚧
Keep it up Tetley, we might get Non Potable or a rock band back for May day .🎉🎉💃💃

The post from the Mayor stated that the local police would enforce the rules.
A joke.
Do we have any local police?
If we do never seen enforcing anything.
And no answer from the town hall.

But they have plenty of time to arrange activities.
Probably because there are two PP councillors doing this full-time on a joint salary of over 50k.

Big contrast re absence of information about housing issues.

I'm beginning to feel that I'm alone in turning off the autofill on my pool and allowing the water level to drop.  Both my pool man and gardener tell me that none of the houses they work at are turning off the water to their pools.  Also, none of my friends are following this restriction.  ☹️☹️
