Can you record from your Andriod box into a DVD recorder then onto your tv .
The recorder has a hard drive plus slot for recording DVDs

It all depends on what you want to record!
If it is live UK TV, then you will struggle. The only way that I know is to use the record facilility on filmon but this is limited to only one hour unless you subscribe to a premium account.
For films and TV series on demand, you can record in some of the add-ons but you need to go into the add-on settings and set the download path. This way you can set it up to record to a USB stick. Then transfer to a pc. Then burn to DVD.
The question really is why? The vast majority of films and TV series are available 24/7 through add-ons like genesis and phoenix. If it is soaps that you are after then use the YouTube add-on.
I have recorded films for my grandchildren to use in their portable DVD player but the rest of the time I just watch direct from the android box.
