Love it . George was born in Turkey 3rd century. Died in Palestine , very fitting today.
He served in the Roman army and it appears he never visited England.
Not sure if he slayed a few dragons or not.
But not to worry , St Patrick wasn't Irish ,🥽😅

No exactly!!, most patron saints are symbolic anyway,  St George has been adopted by many other countries too...it's more a symbolism of patriotism, so you either accept that or have a different view ..As is your want, so to speak.

Ang his mam was a muslim and his dad was a Greek  i fink   , so George Boy was Muslim Heritage   

,wonder how that fits now wi some of the full English flag wavers
