You want a bit of banter Billy. With 2 months to go before the season starts, your post will be covered in cobwebs by then. 😉


It was 4am on a bright June morning as SM tossed and turned,
Biggin was making his list for Predict the score as SM had just learned.
She said "do you have to do that now as I can think of other things to do",
and as he starred from his pile of papers, her eyes were fixed like glue.

The look of scorn was more than he could bare, as he hid beneath the sheet,
he had pulled the sheet up so very high, he could even see both feet.
"You had better get some sleep" she said "as you have an early start,
"Remember Jim will be coming to cut some logs while trying not to fart."

Biggin thought he better do as he is told and try to get some sleep,
he remembered that the logs they have yet to cut, is really quite a heap.
As SM says you should always 'Be Prepared" when the scouts all shout "Dib Dob",
if Biggin doesn't get his finger out it soon, he will soon be losing his log.

So here we are with the first set of fixtures plenty of time to peruse, but I don't expect to see any predictions until way nearer the 9th Aug kick Off as we will all want to see what players are signed and who depart .

So soon we will know the first fixtures for the incoming season time is flying. hopefully we will have as many participants as we did last year.
Everyone knows the rules easy predict a home win / away win / or a draw

and in the event of someone being unable to make a prediction in any one week the we can award an average as follows

Average score is a score which we allocate when for some reason  a player  misses a prediction. For the sake of any confusion Average score will be determined as follows
Total score accumulated by those playing divided by the number of players who played and the result will be allocated as the average score.
Please note that it will only be the whole number that is allocated  in other words for example total points scored by 10 players is 57 .
57 divided by 10 is 5.7  in that example 5 will be awarded as the average score
