Telitec mi-fi

Ther's no mention of it on their website but it looks like a system where a small router is connected to a mobile internet service (probably from Hits).  Loks a bit limited to me - only 5 connections!  More importantly you will need a good mobile internet signal (from Hits/Vodafone) for it to work.

In the Euro weekly News Telitec are advertising a mi-fi gadget which gives you "Your own wi-fi hotspot". Can anyone explain how these work? And would there be a one off cost or is a subscription needed?
