What is proceedure for taking a car off the road

You can take it off the road temporarily, the easiest way is to go and see Joanne Tissingham at the bibliotec on a Mon/tue/wed morning from 10 a.m.
She will help you with form that you then need to take to the trafico. Or go to a Gestor to do it for you.

Hi

We have a new car and up until now also kept old car taxed, insured etc.  However the insurance is so high for basically a scrap car want to take off the road.

We are not sure if going to scrap it, or try to sell alloy wheels so at present just want to do paperwork to say not being used and off road.  Does anyone know procedure at traffico? ???
