They're not very resistant to a good dose of Roundup Frankie!  What a brilliant statement that was from your grandfather and how true, we struggle like mad to get our pretty flowers to grow and yet the weeds survive without a problem.  Some of them are actually quite pretty too, maybe we should just let the ones we like grow and not bother with 'proper' flowers!

If you click on the underlined species name you get a picture of each one.  Just love the one called Hairy Fleabane, looks like a dandelion gone to seed.

Hola,

Does anybody know of a good link to a site that lists some of the more common weed types in this area, we are trying find out which types can cause itchyness and blistering, we think it might be that horrible sticky feeling one that is prevelant at the moment you always see surviving on the roadside, they have a yellow flower and can grow to a considerable size, they seem to leave a sticky residue on touch.
