Hi

Having worked and bred Ferrets in a previous life, what they really want is meat, in any shape or form.

Complete ferret food is a waste of money, you are better off feeding tinned cat food or meat scraps from the butchers

But what they really like is fresh meat preferably with skin and bone still attached, ie Rabbits, hares and birds.

To some it might sound a bit OTT but ferrets are true carnivores and thrive on an all meat diet, not the soya and wheat cr*p

that the complete foods serve up.

Try Ramblizo in Antas (down the stairs). They sell all pet/animal foods so hopefully ferret food as well.

Anyone know where you can buy dried food for ferrets? Got some at Eroski but ferret not keen on it.
