Bird of Prey?

Thanks for the replies people. Definitely a golden eagle. It was just before the cemetery at Llano de los Espino, so was probably the same one that Alan saw!

Yup - deffo a golden eagle. Alan saw it earlier this week - he hasn't shut up about it since!

Have seen eagles high up the rambla near El Margin so could be an eagle if very large.

Can anyone ID a bird of prey we saw this morning?  It was very large, mostly brown but with very distinctive white markings in  the centre of its wings, on the top and underneath. It also had white feathers on the tip on the tail.
