Is he kept behind old metal gates & rubbish on the right at the top of a very steep hill down to the rambla? I have felt frightened walking past there! Good to know that he is sweet.

Hi,

We live about and hour and half away but I have put the word out to see if we can help at all. Would it be possible to offer to feed the dog until it can be rehomed. I would be happy to pay for the food if it meant the dog does not get shot. Let me know what you think. Thanks

We live in La Perla and around the corner is a spanish house who we believe is a farmer. They own a 1 year old bull mastiff who is sweet and gentle and would make a lovely pet. The farmer has told neighbours that he going to kill the dog next week because he cannot afford to feed him. The dog (Rocky) has been locked in a small compound since he was a puppy.

The vet will not put down a healthy dog so we are assuming the farmer will shoot him. If you know someone who would like a big gently dog then please contact us direct on 950439209 or 663560373 and we will take you around to view him.
