You have to load (again, possibly) the English Language pack. It's free, from Microsoft, and fully legal and supported.

Anyone with a modicum of Spanish and computer literacy should be able to guide you, it's very straightforward. Members of the computer club get free help with these sort of issues. http://www.alboxcc.com

I recently updated my Windows 8, to Windows 8.1 on a new lap top computer. That went well but most of the instructions are now in Spanish. So I cannot revert to either Windows 8 or alter the language back to English because the instructions are in Spanish !!! Can anyone help please  so catch 22 eh
