Problems with hotmail?

Possibly something to do with the fact that Microsoft is closing down Hotmail & Livemail & switching all to their new service called outlook.com

Is anyone experiencing problems with hotmail? I keep getting the message that hotmal is experiencing problems which have nothing to do with my PC. just wondered if anyone else is having the same problem.
