Hi All, firstly a very big thank you to Marian Nobbs for her demonstration on painting with water colours. It was very interesting and amazing how the scenery within the painting gradually came to life. We look forward to seeing the finalised painting on display in the library very soon. I have attached some photos to show you how the painting developed during the hour's demonstration and Marian painting the scene, whilst talking us through some very useful creative tips.

Marian has said that she will do a further demonstration in the New Year, around February time, so we hope that many of you can join us next time - even if you don't paint yet, the demonstration certainly gives you inspiration to have a go.

Secondly, John Fry has kindly agreed to host another quiz upstairs at our English Library and Social Centre on Wednesday 15 November, starting at 11am.  We will provide some light refreshments on the day.  Entry will be free for members and 2 euros for non-members. So get your teams together for another fun morning at Plaza San Antonio, Albox.  Please let me have names and team names by Wednesday, 8 November by email almanzorafriends@gmail.com
