It seems that it's all set for the ladies to bring home the golds this year. KJT will get her gold medal tonight after her best ever performance in the heptathlon to become World Champion, beating the current champion. Dina goes in the 4x100m relay for her 3rd medal whilst Laura Muir goes for her medal in the 1500m.😄

Dina wins the gold, now just the relay left to get a set. Meanwhile KJT leading the way after 2 personal bests. She is up,for a medal and it could be gold as her main rival and current champion is below par.

Dina Asher's-Smith wins her heat in the 200m and has the final tonight.😊

#3
Dina Asher-Smith goes tonight, but she has a big hill to climb to beat Shelly Ann-Price. In the 200m she has more contenders to overcome although she should beat Schippers but still have 2 more on form to beat but she should come away with 3 medals of some colour.😎

Shaunae Miller will take some beating in the 200m in which 2 heats starts Monday with the final Tuesday. Dina is almost guarenteed a medal of some colour.😄

Shame that the men’s 100 metres has been tainted again. Unreal when and all we ever hear is what the Russians are allegedly doing!

These numbers in the stadia are worrying too with the WC coming up in 3 years time.

It turning out to be a disaster, with hardly any spectators in the stands and intense heat and 70% humidity. The marathon was held around midnight as it was thought to be the coolest time for the athletes. 28 dropped out during the race through the heat and humidity. Dina Asher-Smith starts her challenge today looking at 3 gold medals. She could get 2 in my opinion.😄
