Bee eaters and Migration - a question

They usually leave around the beginning of September. We were saying they're late leaving this year

Hi all. Yesterday afternoon we had around 60 Bee Eaters kettling overhead and then peeling off to go SE - it occurred to me that it was rather late in the year for migration. My question is: anyone made a note in previous years re. a date the Bee Eaters left?
