Lets not forget that Iran is behind all this and the supporter of Hamas who virtually took over the country using the name Palestine. The reason for this is Israel had a economic trade pact with  seven Arab countries that have normalised relations with the Jewish state and broke records in 2023, exceeding $4 billion, up 16 percent from 2022. ( Brokered by Donald Trump , remember him .) The UAE Trade was between Israel UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, Kosovo, and Morocco These Arab countries joined Egypt and Jordan in full diplomatic ties with the Jewish state. Meaning the possibility of long lasting peace in the middle east. This did not include Iran , remember rigged elections , a nation that throws gay people off buildings , stops females having a life , school , work ,social status etc.
Iran (read Hamas ) idea was that when Hamas invaded Israel and slaughtered/raped men women and children then Israel was duty bound to retaliate, the idea being this Arab peace/trade pact would collapse and the UAE , now starting to become a modern state ( but still a way to go I admit ) along with some European nations would turn against Israel. Remember Israel , a democratic nation , gay people free to live there lives , women  have a life free from oppression.
Jonny 73 has a point ( right or wrong )and is free to express it without being belittled for his opinion. However the only 2 groups who do not want a ceasefire are Hamas and Israel for unless Israel crush Hamas the long term consequences are far worse
No, I don't support war , but like USA , UK , Spain, France , Germany, etc  in Afghanistan, and the many mistakes made in the killing of innocent people , sometimes you have to stand up for freedom and peace.
Just my Opinion.
