Hi Mike,
yes you are right. Im on my own at the moment and our road was washed away, most of it ended up in my drive. My Spanish neighbours called y/day eveing to say they would help me this morning. 3 of them arrived with shovels and worked for hours. They are coming back tomorrow to try to clear the rest. I am forever in their debt they have been wonderful.
