PHIL. A brilliant day.
We know how much work goes into arranging an event and the atmosphere was so friendly and everyone enjoying themselves. Thank you from us all and our present and future clients who will benefit from your tremendous effort.
Many thanks to the crowd who came whether to bowl, eat or just enjoy the great music.

We hope to see some of those same faces when we have our Walk, date to be agreed with the Ayuntamiento.

WOW!!! What a day we all had at the bowling centre.

On Sunday 5th February 2017 a Prostate Cancer Awareness Day was help at the Bowling Centre.

We had a fabulous turnout of 90 bowlers made up from the general public and league bowlers. On top of the bowling some craft stalls were selling their wares. Plus there must have been another 50 or so that cam to enjoy the music and the day in general.

At 3.00pm the local band IMPULSE started to play and what great sounds they made for the next 3 hours!! Even the bowlers stopped at one point to join in singing Hi Ho Silver Lining!! Great atmosphere at a great location.

The day raised a fantastic 1767€ for Walk for Life

A special thanks goes to Rafa and his staff for looking after everyone so well. That, and the fact all money paid for the bowling went into the collection pot.

We would like to thank our generous lane sponsors:

The Garage Arboleas who not not only sponsored 4 lanes but also donated a further 150€ from funds they took out from car services they carried out before Christmas. A great gesture.

Girasol Albox, who sponsored 2 lanes, The Sleepcentre Albox, Sol Supermercado Albox, The Corner Shop Albox, IBEX Insurance, IndalOcio Arboleas, Cenro Desuagce Auto Albox.

One of our forum members sparkiemike kindly donated 50 pounds as well. Another great gesture.

Last by but no means least IMPULSE who gave their time for free. Thank you everyone. We really do have some wonderful people living here.

The winning teams were: John, Barry & Rafa for the public. And Gary, Barbara and Ian Stewart for the bowlers. They won after a one game shoot out. Both finals were close finishes. Well done everyone.
