Just be careful using this type of USB charging cable.
Last week, a set of Sony Earbuds overheated, today I had a Vape pen do the same.
These were being charged with the original cables.
Apparently dust or debris can get into the socket, causing a short.
Most new android phones and tech use USB type C now, so probably best not to leave things charging over night.
