Driving to Torremolinos

We´ve done the malaga trip and would never use the coast road.

I agree with Claire, got stuck once on the coast road for an hour in traffic. Nightmare.

We always go Baza - Granada - Malaga, takes about 3 and half hours.

E15 way is nice and scenic, however, when the motorway ends and you are on the coast road it can be slow going if you are behind wagons.

         Just want to pick somebodies brain, I have been invited to a do in Torremolinos and intend driving from Arboleas. Has anybody done the journey recently, looking at the map is it better going straight down the coast E15 etc or the back road via Baza and Granada or any other route.
