Thanks again for all the helpful info :wave

At least we can use the stove safely now!

I know Longo does it in black, through the front door, down to the bottom and last row on the right...

YES in longos they do have the silicon sealant ,it cost about 7.95 E ,make sure you get a silicon sealant, there is another make available which hardens then will start to flake !!

Think I saw some sealant for woodburners in Longo's last week.

Yes Cielos you can get a high modular , high temperature silicon sealant that will hold it together no problem . Not bought any for years but the stove place out on the Baza road close to the ITV centre should stock it .
If you see someone without a smile give them one of yours .

Am now waiting for glass to be sent from stove manufacturer (as it's not flat glass none of the local businesses could cut it to fit)

In the meantime we are still using stove - obviously not leaving it unattended as the glass has crack from top to bottom

Am wondering if there is silicone/tape/adhesive that I could apply to exterior of glass in order to keep it all in one piece for the next few days until replacement arrives

Obviously needs to be heat resistant to very high temps

Anything I can buy in the local ferrets?

Thanks in advance for helpful suggestions :wave :wave :wave
