Hi

You can instruct your Bank to remove an authorised signatory from your account ..... the Bank should deal with this upon request.
If you want to revoke the POA, you need to arrange the formal cancellation of the POA via the Notary. The Bank should not need the formal cancellation of the POA to remove an authorised signatory.....
I hope this helps

I have my solicitor as Power of Attorney on my bank account, apparently it was required when I bought my house a few years ago.  I spoke to the bank and they said it cannot be removed by them, the solicitor must do it.  The solicitor has given me the actual document back now which I believe needs to go to the notary in Albox to be recorded as no longer valid?    I am assuming the Notary will provide something for me to take back to the bank, which will allow them to remove the solicitor from our bank account.  Does anyone have any experience of removing a power of attorney?
