Mike Town Hall

The Town Hall has negotiated a grant of 71,430 euros 60% paid by the junta and 40% by the Town Hall for work on the Roman Glass Mine, this money will be used to to make a roof over the entrance where a disabled access was created as the original access was too small thus restoring a covered entrance once again, also the the pedestrian access leading up to the mine can be concreted improving access, the rest will be spent on safety fencing hand rails signs etc. this is an important peace of history for the village as the Romans came here at the turn of the century and mined the cristal, this is like a clear slate and could be split to form pains of glass changing the way houses could be used, it is believed that the crystal from here was exported back to rome to let light in to the homes of the rich. With this peace of history in the village it will create tourism and thus recognition politically.
