Electronic Notifications and bills

Has anyone thats registered for Electronic notification and pay by Direct Debit received the IBI bills . We pay ours by DD but not received a bill so no idea what the amount is or when its taken .

We got the vehicle tax bill sent as an attachment to an email but it wasn't paid by DD at the time , seems a stupid idea if they dont notify those that pay by DD as they should be encouraging payments by that method , they even used to give a discount for DDs saves them bank charges and brings in the money quicker but if what we have been told been told is correct then they are discouraging DDs in which case we will cancel all of ours to the town hall because having a bill is more important to us than the convenience .
