Hi,

Big thank you, especially to Karen4, managed to get the correct replacement glass, cut to size and at a good price from the glaziers near the Bomberos, very polite and helpful team there too.

Acar are expensive, the glazier near the bomberos base is far and away the best! Acar charged a friend €90 for one fire and we got ours for about €30 from the chap I've mentioned, same size and type of glass. Very big price difference!

Hi,

Thanks for the replies, found Chimeneas Acar on the Web, dated 2011 though, is their place still open near the ITV station Albox does anyone know, we will try the glaciers nr the bomberos too.

Best place, and least expensive by a long way, is if you go past Albox as if heading for Baza. Turn off into Albox on the slip road just past the rambla. Up the road to the roundabout. The Bomberos sign is to the left, straight on is into Albox on the road the Post Office is on, to the right takes you to the chap who wells the glass. Best deal anywhere.

I'm pretty sure we got ours from Ferrataria Lepanto in Albox.

Hi,

Our glass panel has just cracked on the wood burning stove, does anyone know of any places in and around Albox that supplies said glass?

Many thanks,
