Title: STRANGERS AT THE HOUSE
Post by: DPM on May 15, 2017, 13:59:00 PM
Has anyone else had a visit from 2 men, one who stays in the car as the other asks to speak to the owner about his offer from the Red Cross, wanting to know how long we were here for etc.
The car is a UK plated silver VW Golf, reg number NL07JYB. The bloke in the car has either very short hair or shaved head and is wearing sunglasses. The other is short, stocky with dark hair. He speaks English and says his name is Paco.

As you say it is currently insured, and the MOT lasts until 8 May 2018.

However, according to https://www.gov.uk/check-vehicle-tax (https://www.gov.uk/check-vehicle-tax), it is untaxed: the tax expired on 31st March 2017.

you can check insurance for a UK reg vehicle by typing in MID (short for motor insurance database) but how do you check a Spanish vehicle?
