So the season has ended and this year Stokie Bloke has had a clean sweep although the H2H may have had a different result had it run its full length rather than Barclays awarding a point to each team for games that were frozen.

DUE TO COVID LIKELY TO CONTINUE FOR SOME TIME AND THE POSSIBILITY OF ANOTHER SPIKE IN THE WINTER WITH THE POSSIBLE SHUT DOWN OF THE LEAGUES AGAIN i AM OF THE OPINION THAT NEXT SEASONS FANTASY SHOULD BE FOR FUN THAT IS NO ENTRY FEE. HOWEVER IF OUR MEMBERS FEEL WE SHOULD CONTINUE WITH ENTRY FEES THEN I WOUD HAVE NO OBJECTION. YOU MAY WISH TO LET ME KNOW HOW YOU FEEL, AND FROM THAT WE CAN MAKE A DECISION.

Here is an update that we had not thought about, the H2H League was allowed to run on and are therefore complete , I like most thought that they would pick up where we left off and I have been in contact with Fantasy support and this is what they sent me

Hi William,

The gameweek deadlines carried on as normal but players scored 0 points and head to head fixtures were tied (unless one manager incurred a transfer deduction and his or her opponent didn't).

If you take a look at the table you can see 38 gameweeks played.

Head to head fixtures are generated after the first gameweek of the league, we can't generate new head to head fixtures for an already existing league.

So on that basis we need to declare the prize winners for the league is 1 Stokie Bloke 2 UTV 3 Maries Matadors prizes will be awarded when the season is completed.

They advertise that we can start a mini league for the remaining 9 games and we have been trying to do that but for some reason after entering all the details it is not creating a league so will be in touch with Fantasy support again to try and find a solution to the problem.

The Classic leagues are unaffected so they will carry on from where we left off.

Watch this space to see if we can get a mini H2H league if successful the code will be posted on this page

Hi Folks well looks like we are all set to go Albert (Kieron) has asked me just to post a few lines he has moved home and is without internet at the moment.

The Fantasy gets underway on the 17th June with a double game week, and there is a bonus for us all as there will be unlimited transfers up until deadline for 1st game. Information is there when you go into the transfer section so for some might give us the opportunity to give our teams a shake.

Have a look make the changes and good luck to everyone for the rest of the season

A potential return date for the Premier League has been reported by the national media this afternoon (Thursday 28th May).

The Telegraph is claiming that clubs have today decided to restart the competition on Wednesday, 17th June.

This would see the following fixtures fulfilled so that all teams will be on 29 games played by the weekend of Saturday, 20th June.

Aston Villa v Sheffield United
Manchester City v Arsenal

As yet there is no official Fantasy Premier League announcement.

This Fantasy Premier League update as been a long time coming. But, here goes ......

Should the Premier League restart, FPL will resume as normal alongside extra gameweeks.
Nothing else to report until a decision to continue playing football is given the go-ahead.
