Turnip

Yes the big turnips are Swedes, but thats what we often mean when we say Turnips. The others are called Nabo a Spanish equivalent, and we got some off Arby market a few weeks ago - a stall on the roundabout sold em and they werent bad. Kenny, who sometimes appears on markets, also has Swedes.

I think they may have been swedes in Iceland and not turnips.
You can't always control who walks into your life...but you CAN control which window you throw them out of.

I have only seen a proper  full size Turnip in Iceland

Huercal Overa market on Monday - not sure where the fruit and veg will be as its Feria week but guess it will be in intersect the main market that is moved to the  next one down from the main street (Doctor - something?), sorry pretty rubbish directions, its the street with the metal statue on the end  :wave Karen

I think I got two in a stew pack from Mercadona - are they enlongated round white things? If so, that's what I got!!

They sell them in Rizos veg shop just up from Mercadonna, when in season. Smaller than in UK.
