Most of the Indian meals here in Europe are made for the European market as a required taste, for those who have travelled to far off lands and lived there will understand the huge difference in taste. Curry in jars and packets from local shops is no where near what a curry should taste like. Two places that have good Indian chefs are The Irish bar in Mojacar and the Little India in Albox.
I know and understand people through their digestive system cannot eat a real curry due to the spices which are added but if you enjoy European Indian food great as long as it doesn't upset your tummy after
My Dhobi and Punka waller in the good old days used to make very hot curry I doubt if I could even take a mouthful these days but I remember the taste very well, perfection.
