yes 4 years backdated i have not received this years demand yet, ihave spoken to a few people including a spanish guy and there seems no resemblance in bills to each other i.e. it varies between 60euros and 600euros a year, but to fine you for bills that were not sent out is naughty, but this is spain.

I paid four years last year and what you paid seems about right, in fact I think I paid one year then they hit me with three years back dated.

I thought they were only allowed to back-date them three years ?

Hi ,
after going to council office in albox today to collect my car tax bill i walked out with further bills for IBI backdated 4 years, now i am not moaning as i knew they were due but 2 questions, can they fine you for late payment (15euros per year) and is 360euros a year about average for 130 sq metres build. and a word of warning these bills must be paid by 5th april so if you have not received yours it might be worth checking.  in the uk i was paying £1600 a year so 4 years in spain equal to 1 in uk,  not bad.
