The mayor of Partaloa Alejandro Lopez (GIAL) has fired his urbanismo councillor Jose Gonzalez (PP) because Sr. Gonzalez failed to satisfactorily explain how he came to be under investigation for the construction of an illegal property. The investigation was initiated by SEPRONA and the Roads Authority.

The remaining 2 PP councillors have now left their posts in protest.

Given that the mayor rules in an alliance with the PP with 3 PSOE councillors in opposition, this means that the ruling council in Partaloa now consists of one person.
