Sometimes just by going into the app you can clear

go into email app under application manager and clear the cache under email (gmail or email) and see if that helps if not google it.

I got a Samsung Andriod. Am getting "process com.android.email" "Andriod.process.media has stoped unexpectedly"and cannot clear, Any ideas please.  Frank
