I had a meeting with the manager at Aguilon golf course last friday and he advised that as from now if you wish to pay and play at Aguilon the green fee will increase by 2 euros to provide your insurance cover. This does not seem to be optional.

If you wish to pay and play at any golf course then your green fee normally includes Spanish Federation Insurance. If you wish to become a member of a golf club then you are now required to be a member of the Spanish Federation. This seems to have been a recent requirement. The cost is approx 80 euros a year.
