Were also right out in the campo so they can be a real pest and so far we have not come up with a deterrent that works 100% of the time . We leave water out for them away from plants as its as much water as food they want , in the really hot times they have problem finding enough water and have had years when they have even eaten our cactus , have no idea how they manage it because we have about 12 different variety's , large , small , some with hair like prickles , others with long needle type thorns but they munch on every single one .

We do find that leaving our cat or dog free to roam around outside helps to keep the damage they do to a minimum but in the hot weather they are so desperate for water that even that wont deter them ,  .

Any suggestions how to deter rabbits eating everything in my garden. Live on the campo
Fenced but they get in and eat all including yuccas.
