[Mike Town Hall]

 The afore menchoed work in avda la perla and avda almanzora has started and curbs are being laid along these roads from the new traffic island towards el prado. I have started calling at the houses along this route to mark sewer conections for those that do not have them.
  Work has started for the widening of the arroyo road from the punta limpio towards the crematorio, at present this is infilling land to bring up the level ready for tarmac, this will not only create another secetion of better road in the main road but also move it away from bar Trinidad which has its entrance danderously close to this now busy road making it safer, the infill is coming from a mount on land previously bought by the town hall for this purpose.
  The precast bridge structure is now inplace in los higuerales with its entrance and exit walls inplace to direct the river, it now needs a re enforce slab of concrete ontop and then tarmacing will complete the work making safe comunication in and out of los higuerales.
  In the village alongside the town hall work is going on replacing old sewer conections and laying curbs, this is being done with a government project "plan Almeria" a project with the aim to kick start the economy, this will result in a wider footpath and total street platform without step gradients making it safer for pedestrians, parking will be prohibited on this street and more parking spaces have been created because of this, following on from this the stairway will be finished conecting once again high town with low town, this work also includes underground chanels to remove the overhead wiring and ugly posts, the asbestos waterpipe has been replaced along this stretch and will continue to be removed/replaced as work goes on.
   In la Cinta a wall is being built to retain land and structures above as in Carrascos before.
  Street lighting, change to LED is ongoing and has caused some breaks in service, the modern system being installed is suffering in places due to its sensativity to small shorts and surges, this may take time to resolve.
  The new traffic island in los llanos is in its final approval and work should start soon giving all a turning point on the main road and safe access for residents and customers of the various bussnises in this area.
