Not forgetting of course that if Spain was not part of the EU the thieving coniving toe rags of developers, promoters and sales agents, and land owners would have free reign to con, steal and fradulently turn over honest decent people who wish to live in this country and spend their hard earned and well deserved pension funds in mainly spainish businesses !

Absolutly right Lorraine, there may be many things wrong the the EU, but countries like Spain are better off in than out. I am sure we must be net gainers, although don´t quote me on this. I think you are right about Pensions and healthcare as well.

If Spain were not in the EU surely our pensions (not that I have one yet) wouldn´t be index linked so would be on an even sharper downward spiral than they are now.
