Title: Solution for some wanting to play movie files on TV
Post by: Optomist on April 11, 2014, 08:20:57 AM
Been using GOM Player for years and found it a really good especially as with it you can jump forward or backwards a preset number of seconds during a film if you miss something . We used to have a laptop connected to the TV to watch films/tv programs that had been previously downloaded , at that time it was a pain having to get up and go to the laptop to control the playback but I've found a free app that can be installed on an Android device such as a phone to do it all . Although its of no use to us now or for streaming Filmon etc however if you watch video files on your TV via a cable you might find it convenient so I've posted the link below .

we got fed up of getting up and down too, so we bought a remote control for the computer, it plays ,pauses, fast forwards. also has mouse options and make the screen bigger

We don't move from the sofa now
