You need good software to do that as the cheap software does not re-code it properly and skips frames causing the video to jitter, especially when doing a pan shot. A decent mid range priced software is Corel Studio 6 pro. Or Adobe Premier CS6.

as any one done any upscaling video to HD and then put on to a flash drive?
