problems with my honeysuckle

Hi, I don't think pruning will l harm it.  I pruned mine severely in late November, when it had just about stopped flowering, because I thought our very strong winds might blow it and the trellis over. It was a solid wall of growth.

I pruned it again in March as it had grown so much it was across a gate and visitors had to stoop to get through.

It had another haircut a couple of weeks ago because it was straggling all over my patio.

It is again a solid wall and has had a mass of flowers for four months.

Afternoon

can anyone give me any advice regarding my honeysuckle - it is in my courtyard in a trough - and is gets the sunshine but not all day - but the leaves are strting to turn brown and fall off leaving just the leaves at the tips - i have fed it but it is still happening.  It has finished flowering....

my first thought is to cut it back but don't want to kill it !
