Thanks to Vanessa for taking her home with her, she is a beautiful very placid and affectionate dog who my husband would have loved to have kept.  Shame our lifestyle does not work round a dog at the moment. Sorry she was not Amber.  She had walked a long way as her pads were all swollen but she was a healthy and obviously previously well looked after, someone's beloved pet let's hope she's chipped and can be reunited with her owner.
