Title: Fungus Help Needed
Post by: T1na.a on October 27, 2015, 13:03:01 PM
Not strictly speaking gardening, I know, but thought some of the gardeners may have seen something like this before.

We have some fungus appearing on the boughs of our gazebo and one bough has actually collapsed in the middle.

Tried the armeria on the Arboleas poligano but they only have 'stuff' for boring insects and know nothing about fungus.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what it might be and cures?

Thanks...Tina

Hi Tina,

Sounds like some type of wood root, not sure if this article will help

Good luck

Thanks for that Sue.  Sounds a likely culprit although still can't understand how it can be caused by moisture in our climate.

Think we will need that good luck to sort it.
