Glad you got sorted and hope you are better soon!

Just to say thanks to those who recommended the Angels, great service and a good price, definitely cheaper than driving to Almeria and very friendly.

Thanks again

Sue

It was done on our Sanitas insurance, so no NH help

They will change it for him at the Clinic in Albox, if he's had it done by the Spanish national
health service.
If your not meant to have midnight snacks, why do they put a light in fridges?

Thank you everyone... I'll try the Angels and see what they say :-)

I know Almeria Angels have a list of UK qualified nurses if that helps....

Always maintain the Status Quo!!

A new knee for Christmas, nice one. I think if you ask at the farmacia they will do it for him, or give you everything you need to do it. The easiest thing would be for you to do it for him. If he doesn't have a drain in, it should be very straight forward, and make life a lot easier for you both, best of luck. Or try a forum member, Michaela 608626708, she is a qualified nurse, English speaker and should be able to advise you what is best to do.

Has anyone had a dressing changed privately in the area.

My husband has just had a new knee fitted at Almeria but has to have the dressing changed twice a week... don't fancy driving all that way if there is somewhere more local and reasonably priced.

Thanks

Sue
