Hi

Best to  Strip the motor down . Bake the stator coil on low in the oven for a few hours to dry it out. Replace the bearings and reasemble

We had a problem, valve had gone, flooded.

We got a new one from Frank at One Stop pool shop near Longos, supplied and fitted, great job.

You will probably be lucky but it is essential that the pump motor is thoroughly dry. I suggest that you use a fan heater on low setting in the box being careful not to get any plasti components too hot. After about a day make sure the pump motor has been quite warm and it should start ok.

Hi,
Earlier this week the plastic box containing the pool pump and valves partially flooded for some reason. I have managed to remove all the water from the box but obviously water has got into the pump as every time I try to switch it on it if shorts and trips the fuses. I have two questions
!  Is it possible that the pump will dry out on its own after a period of time thus making it use able again??
2 If not where would be the best place to get a new one supplied and fitted??

           Thanks
